Hong Kong Cafe Danvers, MA

IMG_2851DANVERS — Chinese food was on the menu for the week’s Team Dinner, courtesy of Hong Kong Cafe.

The team has had huge support this season from the Danvers business community, with restaurants such as Hong Kong, Brother’s and Panini donating food each week before the Varsity game. Sylvan Street Grille, Nik’s Giovannis and Rocco’s have also fed the players.

Feeding 80 players and coaches is no easy task. The boys come off the practice field very hungry, and the restaurants never disappoint. Much appreciated.

Thank you to the numerous parents who donated desserts and Gatorade this week. Talk about a great spread — pumpkin whoppie pies, brownies, cupcakes, homemade cookies — you name it. We also had plenty of Gatorade and enough to fuel up the boys at halftime, too.
